Step 1:
Choose File > New to create a new Photoshop document. Change the following settings:
  • For Width enter "10 in.".
  • For Height enter "8 in.".
Click OK to apply the changes.
Step 2:
Reset Swatches to reset Swatches to default (D).
Step 3:
Choose Edit > Fill to fill the current layer with black (opt-delete.) Select Foreground Color from the drop-down menu for Fill Contents. Click OK to apply the changes.
Step 4:
Click on the Single Column Marquee Tool in the toolbar [SingleColumnMarquee Icon] to make a single column selection.
Step 5:
Hold down Shift key and click to add a single column selection.
Step 6:
Hold down Shift key and click to add a single column selection.
Step 7:
Hold down Shift key and click to add a single column selection.
Step 8:
Hold down Shift key and click to add a single column selection.
Step 9:
Click on the Single Row Marquee Tool in the toolbar [SingleRowMarquee Icon] to make a single row selection.

Hold down Shift key and click to add a single row selection.

Hold down Shift key and click to add a single row selection.

Hold down Shift key and click to add a single row selection.
Step 13:
Choose Edit > Stroke to paint a colored border around a selection, path, or layer. Change the following settings:
  • For Width enter "5".
  • Use the color picker to pick a color for the HSB Color.
    • For Hue enter "0".
    • For Saturation enter "92.941176".
    • For Brightness enter "86.27451".
Click OK to apply the changes.
Step 14:
Choose Select > Deselect to deselect an active selection.
Step 15:
Click on the Magic Wand Tool in the toolbar [MagicWand Icon] to select similarly colored areas.
Step 16:
Change the following settings:
  • In the Options Bar:
    • For Tolerance enter "32".
    • Check Anti-Aliased.
    • Check Contiguous.
  • Click to make a magic wand selection.
Step 17:
Change the following settings:
  • Hold down Shift key and click to add a magic wand selection.
  • For Tolerance enter "32".
  • Check Anti-Aliased.
  • Check Contiguous.
Step 18:
Change the following settings:
  • Hold down Shift key and click to add a magic wand selection.
  • For Tolerance enter "32".
  • Check Anti-Aliased.
  • Check Contiguous.
Step 19:
Change the following settings:
  • Hold down Shift key and click to add a magic wand selection.
  • For Tolerance enter "32".
  • Check Anti-Aliased.
  • Check Contiguous.
Step 20:
Choose File > Open to open a Photoshop document. Select the file "100_0242.jpg".
Step 21:
Choose Select > All to select all pixels in the current layer or mask.
Step 22:
Choose Edit > Copy to copy the currently selected content to the clipboard.
Step 23:
Switch to a different document .
Step 24:
Choose Edit > Paste Into to paste a cut or copied selection inside another selection in the same image or a different image.
Step 25:
Choose Edit > Transform > Scale to scale the currently selected layer(s) or selection. Drag the corner handles to resize the selection. Press Enter to finish.
Step 26:
Change the following settings:
  • In the Options Bar:
    • For Tolerance enter "32".
    • Check Anti-Aliased.
  • Click to make a magic wand selection.
Step 27:
Change the following settings:
  • Hold down Shift key and click to add a magic wand selection.
  • For Tolerance enter "32".
  • Check Anti-Aliased.
Step 28:
Change the following settings:
  • Hold down Shift key and click to add a magic wand selection.
  • For Tolerance enter "32".

Choose File > Close to close the current document.

Choose File > Open to open a Photoshop document. Select the file "100_0632.jpg".
Step 36:
Click on the Rectangular Marquee Tool in the toolbar [RectangularMarquee Icon] to make a rectangular selection.
Step 37:
Drag to make a rectangular selection.
Step 38:
Choose Edit > Copy to copy the currently selected content to the clipboard.
Step 39:
Choose Edit > Copy to copy the currently selected content to the clipboard.
Step 40:
Choose Edit > Copy to copy the currently selected content to the clipboard.
Step 41:
Switch to a different document .
Step 42:
Choose Edit > Paste Into to paste a cut or copied selection inside another selection in the same image or a different image.
Step 43:
Choose Edit > Transform > Scale to scale the currently selected layer(s) or selection. Drag the corner handles to resize the selection. Press Enter to finish.

After you complete this step, dismiss the dialog box in Photoshop to move on to the next step.
